Hunting in Crimea

The Crimea’s unique geographical location is what accounts for the richness of its game preserves and the diversity of fauna. The relatively small territory of the peninsula is a combination of mountain forests, fields, and wetlands which are the habitats of the deer, roe, wild boar, moufflon, badger, woodcock, pheasant, brown hare, fox, partridge, quail, bustard, little bustard, muskrat, and raccoon dogs. Besides that, every fall and spring Crimea becomes a place for hundreds of thousands of migrating birds to stop on their way to and from the wintering grounds.

Hunting woodcock during its last migration has become very popular lately. Hunting the prize deer, roe, or boar is always a great demand, too. You are also offered an exciting snapshot hunting experience of chasing and taking rare photos of the Crimean wildlife with the help of our qualified gamekeepers.

All game types (Bakhchisaray area): the hoofed mammals (deer, boar, common roe), quail, pheasant, partridge, pigeon, woodcock, and hare.
